This eCourse will explain the supervisory standards and requirements related to the use of premium financing in taking out life insurance policies, with an aim to assist the insurance intermediaries to comply with the Code and Guildlines of the regulatory institutions as well as the principles' requirements when conducting regulated activities involving premium financing for better protection of potential policy holders.

The supervisory standards and requirments related to premium financing were issued by the Insurance Authority with effect from 1st January 2023.

Upon completing the e-learning activities and the end-of-activity ("EoA") assessment with at least 4 correct answers out of 5 MC questions, a learner can earn:

• 1 IA-CPD hour on "Ethics of Regulations".
• 1 MPF non-core CPD hour.

If a learner fails to achieve a pass mark in the EoA assessment after 4 attempts:

1. his/her enrollment will be terminated.
2. all fees paid are non-refundable.

To earn the CPD hour(s) of the eCourse, the learner must enrol in the eCourse again, complete all e-learning activities and achieve the pass mark in the EoA assessment.

Applicalbe CPD assessment period: 1 August 2022 - 31 July 2023 (both dates includive)

Criteria of obtaining the CPD hour(s): complete the e-learning activities and pass the EoA assessment within the course validity period, or in any case, on or before 31st July 2023.
